TRINUG Visual Studio 2008 InstallFest - December 12th!

Instead of trying to come up with my own text (yes, I'm that lazy sometimes!) I'll just "borrow" the text about this event from Chris Love's blog. Before I do though I'll add that I too will be presenting at this event. I haven't decided exactly what yet but I know it'll be VB 2008 centric. Ok, here's the text from Chris's blog post:

"Next week, December 12th, the Triangle .NET User Group will be holding an Installfest for Visual Studio 2008. Each Registered attendee, and I stressed registered attendee, will receive a FREE copy of Visual Studio 2008 Professional.

Brian Hitney, our area's awesome Microsoft Developer Evangelist, will be leading all of us through setting up Visual Studio 2008. I will be going over some of the new AJAX/JavaScript editing features and Srinu will be showing us some of the new Linq features.

The event will be at a different location because we already have over 120 registered developers. We will be taking over the Rudino's restaurant off Miami Blvd. in RTP. Food and drink will be provided by our great sponsors; Solid Quality Mentors, FarPoint and Microsoft.

Festivities should begin shortly after 5 and last till around 9 PM. We have so great door prizes and lots of good people to rub elbows with and learn from. If there is any TRINUG meeting you go to in the year, this is the one."

For those of you NOT familair with Chris, I suggest you check out his very informative blog, Professional ASP.NET.
