Silverlight: The Power of Skinning by Corrina Barber

If anyone still needed to see the Power of Skinning for Silverlight controls, well, Corrina just did it (again). In addition to the 3 existing skins "Bubbly", "Red" and "Flat", she just published a 4th one "Rough" (click on the links for a live demo, requires Silverlight 2 beta 1).

More information about the skins, including a download link for the source code, can be found on Corrina's blog (Bubbly, Red, Flat; Rough)

Hi Siva,

All the links are working fine. Make sure that you have the right version of Silverlight installed (Silverlight 2 beta 1).

The setup is available here:
http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/resources/installationFiles.aspx?v=2.0

Greetings,
Laurent

Links dont work. I suspect you are incorrectly detecting the versions, as the beta 2 is installed, but you are detection you want beta 1.
Need only check for major version

Hi Phil,

That's why I wrote "requires Silverlight 2 beta 1".

Beta 1 and beta 2 are not compatible. The templates updated by Corinna can be found on her blog:

Greetings,
Laurent
