Sharing Session Or create a Common Session Space
In IIS we can create a Virtual Directory(VD) and inside the Virtual Directory we can create another Virtual Directory. For Example

TestParent
>>TestChild

Here I have a VD TestParent and inside VD TestParent I have the VD TestParent.
Objective is to create a Common Session Space for both the VD's.

Follow this (from the Computer Management ):
1. Create VD TestParent and define the Local Path
2. Create the VD TestChild by right clicking on the TestParent. This will create the VD inside the TestParent.
3. This is the tricky part, Now you have to go to the properties of VD TestChild. Go to the Virtual Directory Tab. Then Click the Remove Button beside the Application Name. This will do.


You can do the same for a Website >> VirtualDir
