I went to the 2005 Tech Expo last week put on by the Little Rock .NET User Group. It was a 6 hour drive, but well worth it. Jon Box gave a great presentation on tools to use in development, as well as a brief introduction to VS Team System...which looks fantastic. Billy Hollis showed his validation controls as well as an inspirational keynote where he yelled "Stop writing code" He's point was to use existing controls and tools to avoid writing excessive code. Some other guy wasted our time by ranting about how vb is a real language...it wasn't really applicable to me anyways. The guys down there did a great job putting everything together and I look forward to next years.
