Well there were about 40 people at the girly geek dinner and out of those people there were a few guys, and yes they did have invites. I was impressed by the turn out and I think everyone had a good evening.

The evening started off with people wondering around a bit lost and quite a few people wondering what to say to each other. After about half an hour people started to mingle and it all went on from there.

As always the food at the texas embassy was good and the FREE wine provided by Stormhoek wasn't too bad. (Although my french housemate disagrees strongly. He really didn't like it, but I guess these things are all down to personal taste.)

I believe that Lloyd will be posting the podcast of the evening at some point soon, as soon as he does I will let you know were it is.

Let me know what you thought of the evening and how it could be improved for the future. I appreciate constructive criticism! Also could you let me know where you found out about the event from, it is always useful to know where people look for the information on these events.
